Whatever your body can do today, that's what we'll work with.
Three ways to work with me at One Love Yoga, Silk Mill, 145 River Street, Suite 5, Kent, Ohio, right across from the Kent Free Library.
Noontime Yoga — Mondays, starting September 14
Live at One Love, or live over Zoom if you're at your desk or out of town. Take an early lunch, move for forty-five minutes, beg forgiveness when you're back a little late. If you're local, stack it: come for class, then walk the Portage Hike & Bike Trail right outside, grab lunch with a friend. I'm usually not in a rush to leave either.

Workshop: Quality of Effort — September 12, $35
Maybe you've noticed it: waking up a little creakier than you used to. Taking a beat before you're really moving around.
Yoga is a wonderful, lifelong practice. So is cardio. So is weight training. Each does real, important things for your body. But there's a piece often missing from all of them, the one behind that creakiness: resilience and elasticity, the tissue quality that lets your joints and connective tissue take on effort without breaking down as you age.
This workshop fills that missing piece. Ninety minutes of movement, specifically to train resilience and elasticity alongside strength, so you can keep your mobility, agility, and capability for decades, not just this year.
You'll walk out with more spring in your step and more energy in your body. That's not a someday promise. It's immediate.
Learn to feel the difference between effort that builds you and effort that costs you. That's the actual skill, the one that stays with you long after the workshop ends.

Private Therapeutic Work
$95/hour, at One Love, scheduled around my class times. Trigger points, myofascial release, and yoga asana built around what your body specifically needs to rebalance.
Who this is for
This work especially supports bodies managing illness, injury, or age, though every class meets you exactly where you are, whatever that looks like today.
Why I'm the guide for this
I made my living as a full-time yoga therapist for over a decade, working with people of every age, with particular depth in illness, injury, and aging bodies.
Testimonial
"Kat took one look at me and noticed my right shoulder was higher than the left. I didn't even know. She found a point beneath my collarbone that caused it to drop. In this one session, she helped me relieve decades of chronic pain." ~ Ashley Forbes, Google review
"I have been blessed to have had Kathy's yoga teachings over the years; she has an immediate calming aura and is an incredible educator. The experiences have stayed with me, and I have yet to find anyone better. She is both soothing and motivating in the most gentle of ways." ~ April Waide, Google review
"Better than a Doctor."~ T Pfaff, Client
